Faith Brings Domestic and Emotional Tranquility: Trust God and Not Man This brief essay will contain multiple assertions and a single request. Assertions and requests can be implied. Emotion is a result of multiple assertions and/or requests. If you want to avoid emotion, identify the involved assertions and requests and explain them if necessary. A friend in Romania has been telling me about several of her problems, including how she suffers abuse from family members and how she cannot work due to bigotry and psychological adversity in the workplace in Belgium. She heard a radio broadcast from the Romanian Orthodox Church where the speaker was essentially blaming the victim. This caused her to feel even more alienated. I helped her and gave her what she asked for -- to serve Justice -- and when she was trying to determine how to thank me, I told her that she could thank me by accepting Jesus Christ as her Righteousness and Salvation. The following is what I said to her about her adverse situations, and I mention this for your benefit also, because I and people I know experience painful adversity daily, and this "medication" helps me because my intercessor is the only Savior and, as Justice, annuls harm; because the world cannot accept the solution to all its problems, Jesus said that in this world we will have trouble: "I have told you these things so that in me you may have Peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But have courage, because I have overcome the world." This message is also for those of you who have ever suffered injury or sickness and yet still imply the assertion that you are trustworthy. Is mortality an insufficient reminder of weakness before the Almighty? Life is a journey of learning what it means to trust in God and Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, the Source of Purity who is Kindness, Justice, and Righteousness in the flesh, even solved our problem of mortality by giving us eternal life through himself. Domestic and emotional violence occurs because people fail to truly accept Jesus Christ as their Righteousness and Salvation. As Jesus Christ explained, if you trust God and not Man, you will also not accept judgments of man who judges by human standards in an attempt to please himself rather than God... Bad results occur when you trust that which is not trustworthy. For example, whoever breaks an ankle and proceeds to stomp on the floor with that foot is in for a fool's awakening to their own weakness. Similarly is death a fool's awakening to weakness they had a lifetime to solve, but the world refuses to accept the answer because people want to delude themselves with thoughts of self-pleasing "strength". There is only one Strength; everything else is relative Weakness. This message is also for those of you who trust in weapons or force or society (numbers) or anything else that is not actually trustworthy as a source of protection and safety. You can trust in weapons, such as guns. "Whoever draws the sword will die by the sword." Anyone who has ever been shot by a gun can testify that guns are not trustworthy. This message is also for those of you who trust in your mind, your understanding, and everything else that changes. Do you build a house on quicksand or on an ocean so that it sinks when its foundation has moved? Over the course of a lifetime, comprehension, physical state, and yes, even the entire planet and solar system and galaxy are all moving, from the scale of large down to the scale of small. "I the Lord do not change. Therefore, you are not destroyed." God holds Existence in himself, and he has set everything as dynamic. "God alone is Good. If you want to enter life, obey the Commandments." The simple fact that God does not change and that God alone is Absolutely Good should define to every sane mind that God is the only one who is actually trustworthy. And Jesus Christ as the Source of Purity to God and as the Teacher taught us, "Trust in God. Trust also in me." He mentioned nothing else to trust, because "at the end of the day", as the saying goes, you go to your god: either to the grave or to Life. If you trust in something that changes, you trust in something that perishes, and the final destination of that also becomes your final destination. Bad results occur when you trust that which is not trustworthy. ----- You want to control your situation and to help yourself. However, you realize that you cannot, and that you are powerless. You therefore have two options: 1) Continue blaming yourself and feeling guilty or blaming others and being angry at them as a form of compensation so you can feel like you can do something to affect anything at all. 2) Understand that God is in Control. Trust God and have faith in Jesus Christ. "Well do I know your suffering." "Heaven is my throne and the Earth is my footstool. What kind of dwelling place will you build me, or where will my resting place be? Has not my hand made all these things?" "I, the Lord, do not change. Therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not destroyed. Ever since the time of your ancestors, you have rebelled against me and not kept my decrees. Return to me, and I will return to you. [...] [Bring before me all your heart, mind, soul, and will, and entrust all you are to my care.] Test me in this, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out so much blessing upon you that you will not know what to do with it all. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and [vines/weeds will not hinder your efforts]. Then all the nations will call you blessed, because yours will be a delightful land. Even your entire country is under a curse because you rebel against me." (circa Malachi 3). The reason you are so influenced by self-blame is because you feel out of control and accusations make you feel like you have the capability to change something about your situation -- but Satan means "accuser", and Jesus Christ commanded, "Do not judge. Do not condemn. Forgive." Stop accepting harmful accusations and open your eyes to the fact that God and Jesus Christ alone is Trustworthy. Clothe yourself with Jesus Christ who is Righteousness, and someday I will meet you in the Peace that only Jesus Christ gives: "Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. Trust in God. Trust also in me. In my Father's house, there are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you there to be with me where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going. [...] I am the way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father also. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. [The Father is in me, and I am in the Father.] [...] All men will hate you because of me, but not a hair on your head will perish; by standing firm, you will gain life. [...] All this I have told you so that you will not go astray. [...] I give you my Peace. [My Grace is sufficient for you, because my power is made pure in weakness.] I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. [Trust in God, trust also in me.]" "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where he is going. Put your faith in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light." Do not even talk to people who accuse you or are otherwise bearing bad fruit: "Leave them; they are guides of the blind. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit." Let God sort them out, because "whoever speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but whoever speaks on behalf of the one who sent him is a man of truth in whom there is nothing false." "I am not seeking glory for myself, but there is one who seeks it, and he is the Judge. I tell you the truth, whoever believes [accepts my words and believes the one who sent me] has eternal life and will never die." "This is eternal life: that they would know you, the only True God, and Jesus Christ, who you sent." If you defend yourself before the blind or haughty or arrogant, you will only cause them harm, because, "You have only one Father, and he is in Heaven, and you have only one Teacher, the Christ." "Do not think that I have come to bring peace (consensus) on the Earth. I did not come to bring peace (consensus), but a sword (division). From now on, there will be 'two in one house divided against each other: father against mother, sister against brother, father-in-law against mother-in-law, daughter against mother, son against father, [etc.]. A man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' [cited from one of the prophets]" So the short answer is, if you truly want to get better, trust no one except God and Jesus Christ. I have not been to church for months, but I often lock my door and kneel and pray to Jesus Christ who is in Heaven, because I only accept him as my master. "Heaven and Earth will all pass away, but my words will never pass away."
